SLASH! What did happen to Eggman?
I have decided to revive one of the yahoogroups for my webcomics as a place to put the more graphic violence and slash behind the scenes for both BLATAH! and NOCTURNIA. There were many things that took place that still have some readers confused, others that will be happening that more than likely will have the same effect.

My webcomics are both rated MA so they are anything but sanitized Disney versions, but simply put there were things that I could not bring myself to depict. Why? Partly too graphic violence and partly that I felt some of those depictions would completely derail the stories themselves.


In the past I have been REALLY annoyed at fans that would send me emails or post maniacally in the guestbook about seeing the characters in my webcomics get it on. I had a HUGE LJ rant on the matter.

Basically, I was tired of people making it look like it was all about which tab A might be inserted into slot B (pardon my crudity) and ignoring the overall plot and storyline.

I like slash. I love yaoi, which I will honestly admit. But this doesn't mean that every character is thinking about the next time to jump another. My beef in particular was with Quinn and Liam. They loved one another. When Quinn died, it completely broke Liam. BUT THEY WERE NOT LOVERS. I mean, think Sam and Frodo, to use a LOTR analogy. I have characters that have had their slash relationships, mostly Aryck and Eggman and Eggman and Rai... what bothered me was the assumption that EVERYONE then had to have same sex relationships.

Take Nocturnia-- Adrian and Damien have had a .. uh.. questionable moment, but you will NEVER catch Angus around another man. It just isn't in chara.

Anyhow, its more a general announcement. If you would like to be included in the ML, note or send me your email address. NOTE that this will not become a random free for all and fanfics of my characters still... squeek me in many ways.

I'm putting this up since many people have been asking, and its a way of both filling in the gaps of what took place and keeping it separate from the comics themselves.

Ack! Off to trample over Tokyo now.
